The Navigation Drawer in Liquid UI is the main area for personalizing Liquid UI on your Android device. To get the the Navigation Drawer, you can either drag from the left side of the screen when you are in a connection or you can tap the menu icon in the upper left corner of the screen. The Navigation Drawer contains a number of settings for your Liquid UI client. These are divided into four sections, which are as follows.
The 'Connections' section of the Navigation Drawer contains the curent connection as well as options for opening and closing connections. These are explained in more detail below.
Click on this setting to open the Connection List. From here you can select a connection to open. Please note that if you have a release earlier than 2.0.2.2, only one connection can be open at a time - opening a new connection will close the current connection if one is already open.
The name of the curent connection will be listed directly below the 'Open a connection' setting as shown below.
Click on this setting to close the current connection and return to the Connection List.
This section of the Navigation Drawer lists the details of any sessions that are open within the current connection. You can have multiple sessions open within a single connection.
Click on this setting to open the Connection List. From here you can select a connection to open. As previously referenced, in releases prior to 2.0.2.2, only one connection can be open at a time - opening a new connection will close the current conenction if one is already open.
The name of the curent connection will be listed directly below the 'Open a connection' setting as shown below.
Click on this setting to close the current connection and return to the Connection List.
The Session Details section is not editable. It contains information pertaining to your current session. The following items are included in this section.
This entry specifies if you are or are not conencting through a GuiXT Server. If you are using GuiXT Server, this entry will say 'YES'. If you are connecting directly to SAP, this entry will be 'NO'.
This entry lists the three-digit system ID for the SAP application server to which you are connecting.
This entry lists the client number for the current user.
This entry lists the user name of the currently logged in user.
This entry lists the transaction that you are currently accessing. For example, if you are in the SAP Easy Access screen, the value for this entry would be 'SESSION_MANAGER'.
In this section, you can access the Wharf, or you can turn on network tracing. Tap 'The Wharf' option to go to the Wharf, from which you can access the CVonnection List and the Insider. Tap the 'Turn Trace On' option to turn on network and packet tracing. This option is used primarily by Synactive for troubleshooting - we do not recommend turning it on unless you are so instructed by a Synactive Support representative.
