Challenges:
- Improve PM process in time entry, confirm operations, notification history, TECO and CATS
- Standard SAP functionality does not allow users to make changes to an order in CATS
- Navigating through multiple screens with unnecessary fields to complete one time entry
- Documenting equipment history and failure data is a critical, yet tedious process
Solution:
- With GuiXT, users can now access a PM order in the change mode within CATS screen, which will indicate to the planner/scheduler that they need to reschedule the order to someone else.
- Capture work variants codes, hours/short text in CATS pop-up screen; upon saving the variance, the data populates a Z-table for use in variance reporting.
- A button was added to the CATS screen to provide users seamless access to the notification and order
