Challenges:
- Transactions have hundreds of fields, multiple tabs, and require several screens to complete
- Bar code enabled SAP screens were needed
- Reports take hours to complete with a lot of manual work involved.
Solution:
- GuiXT is used to put all the input fields on the first screen, and to create a Push button to fill out and process the subsequent screens
- Enabled push button with a function key and created bar codes from Excel contents
- Downloaded data, hands free, using GuiXT and run a PC process to pull data. The results are pushed to an Excel spreadsheet and delivered automatically by company preferred methods

- Cut transaction times by 50%
- Increased bar-code transaction speed ten fold with less errors and minimal costs
