Synactive Announces More-Intuitive User Interface for GuiXT WS Web UI 2011

Visit Synactive at SAPPHIRE® NOW 2011 (Booth 2419) and Learn More About Web UI

Orlando, Fla. – May 16, 2011 – Synactive, Inc. (www.guixt.com), a leading developer of optimization and user-enablement solutions for use with SAP® solutions, today announced a new and more-intuitive user interface for its GuiXT WS Web UI 2011 suite, as well as the addition of a Web Script Editor function. GuiXT WS Web UI is built on Synactive's WS Platform—a Web 2.0 technology—and utilizes the same industry-standard Web scripting that all other GuiXT WS solutions use. WS Web UI enables corporations to deploy to functional users or partners a simplified and streamlined user interface in support of SAP solutions, customized and tailored to specific tasks and delivered via the Web browser. In addition, this new release makes it easy to deploy Web services for consumption by PDFs or HTML forms. Web Script Editor extends this capability by enabling script development to be performed through the browser as well—support personnel can now execute validated changes without having to consider deployment time and business execution.

To learn about Synactive’s GuiXT solutions in support of SAP solutions, visit Synactive in booth 2419 at the SAPPHIRE® NOW conference and 2011 ASUG Annual Conference, being held here May 15-18. In addition, Synactive will present a session titled “How to Transform Data from Excel to PDF to SAP Solution Format with GuiXT” during SAPPHIRE NOW and the ASUG Annual Conference, session 3402, being held Monday, May 16 at 12:30 p.m.

Implementing GuiXT WS Web UI 2011 eliminates the need to rebuild applications with the Web Dynpro development environment for Java or Web Dynpro for ABAP™. With WS Web UI, users can more easily build AJAX-based, Web-delivered, custom-simplified business transactions and optionally expose them as iView portal content in the SAP NetWeaver® technology platform. This flexibility makes GuiXT WS Web UI a useful complement for access to the SAP ERP application, the SAP NetWeaver Portal and Microsoft SharePoint.

"GuiXT WS Web UI provides a rapid way to customize, streamline, simplify and combine existing Web Dynpro transactions, and deliver them through the intranet or Internet with zero footprint on the user's computer and with nothing else other than the Web browser," said Thomas Ewe, CEO, Synactive, Inc. "Our customers have told us that extending and customizing an existing Dynpro-based application is much simpler than rebuilding one from scratch with low level languages. Our one platform and tool chain enables extensions to SAP solutions to be built quickly and deployed across all user touch points, from desktop to mobile solution to Web, as well as providing access to SAP solutions in places without connectivity, such as oil rigs or underground mines."

GuiXT WS Web UI highlights:

"WS Web UI is for anyone who is authorized to use the editor, making change management very easy via the Internet," said Gino Padua, senior vice president, Worldwide Field Operations, Synactive, Inc.
