Customizing for SAPConsole made easy

Synactive. LLC, a leading developer of customizing and simplification solutions for
R/3, today announced the addition of GuiXT RF to its software suite.
GuiXT simplifies R/3 transactions and dramatically reduces time needed to input
data on the SAP R/3 screens. Similarly, GuiXT RF simplifies and consolidates
existing R/3 transactions to create one that is suitable for RF handheld
devices.
As mobile and frontline workers participate more in the value chain of any corporation, their need to interface to R/3 for live data entry increases. These interfaces should be simple and fast to truly harness the productivity gain of R/3. Any awkwardness in this user interface would seriously hamper productivity. In the past, reconfiguring and reprogramming R/3 for these specific transactions meant only one thing; expensive rewriting of transactions. This method is not only error prone, but tedious and requires high levels of ABAP proficiency. Now with GuiXT RF, customizing and simplifying these transactions are as easy as 'drag & drop' and little bits of scripting glue.

Unlike middleware; or the expensive rewriting of transactions in ABAP; GuiXT RF leverages existing functionality in R/3; without introducing newly developed, parallel pieces of code that has to be re-tested. Business processes are configured as usual in R/3; and only the simplification of transactions are automated by GuiXT RF.
Using the same proven technology of GuiXT (that is bundled with SAP´s SAP GUI); implementing GuiXT RF is risk-free and economical. When business requirements increase; adding new customizations are as simple as adding new script files.
